In the grand ledger of existence, all elements of nature and living beings strive toward stability. For humans individually, this means achieving life balance; collectively, it means creating social harmony by reducing disparities in tolerance, cultural understanding, literacy, and economics. The ancient concept of karma—God’s mechanism for balancing our lives according to our deeds—operates within this framework, distributing or withholding material benefits.

Our intentions and actions are inseparable in this spiritual economy. Consider this: If God manages a reservoir of resources, wouldn’t it be logical to invest more in those whose intentions serve others? Those who channel their capital to help others directly or enable others to generate income would represent sound spiritual investments. Similarly, wouldn’t these same individuals merit greater protection from losses, given their outsized influence in fostering societal harmony?

The implication for us is profound: we achieve our greatest potential when we detach from self-interest in the outcomes of our actions. By focusing on others’ well-being rather than our own expectations, we may paradoxically increase our “divine capital” and protection. Our personal stability becomes assured through God’s economy when we contribute to the stability of His grand system of life, setting aside self-centered intentions.
